Boo-Baskets for Preschoolers

Spooky season is upon us and what better way to get in the spirit than a boo-basket! I have compiled a list of ideas for your preschooler that are on par for the spooky season but not scary.

1. Who doesn’t love a cutesy bow? And a Beetlejuice-themed cutesy bow at that?! Sign me up!

2. This classic gender-neutral shirt comes in a T-shirt, long sleeve, and crewneck, giving you plenty of options depending on your climate.

3. Crayons are always a hit. My preschooler goes through art supplies like they’re candy, so these crayons will be a huge hit for her. And they’re just absolutely adorable.

4. We as adults love our tumbler cups and a lot of us have a bunch so why not let the kiddos join in with these super cute Halloween-themed tumblers! They are 12oz which is the perfect size for the little ones.

5. I have a hard time finding unique items for my daughter that I won’t see a lot of other kids wearing because we all shop at Target and Wal-Mart. And with finding unique items they are not always budget-friendly. This online store has so many cute options for your kids and they change their inventory every season. And $40 for a Halloween-themed twirl dress seems pretty budget-friendly to me when you see some of the other options out there by other small businesses.

6. No Boo-Basket would be complete without some kind of plushie friend and Build-a-Bear has come out with the cutest little Halloween pals this year! There are 5 total and they’re only $9.50 each. You can get them in-store or online if you do not have a store local to you!

7. I realized last year that my daughter and actually the whole family did not have any warm beanies. These are super cute and come in many different designs and best of all there are sizes for the whole family!

8. Who doesn’t love a good puzzle or even a quiet toy? I love the toys that keep my child occupied but also are not obnoxiously loud. These puzzles are very on theme on Halloween and they come in a very reasonably priced 4-pack.

9. A good touch-and-feel book is perfect for your little one’s boo-basket. This Halloween-themed board book with different textures and high-contrast pages will keep them engaged for the whole story!

10. The Nightmare Before Christmas is a classic at this point so this Little People collaboration is perfect for your spooky boo-basket!

11. Stickers are fun for kids of all ages and are a low-mess activity.

12. Lush bath bombs are a bit on the pricier side when it comes to bath bombs but I believe the quality of Lush is worth it and just look at this cute design! My child and I both have sensitive skin and this does not cause us any irritation but always proceed with caution when introducing new products to your kids.

13. The crayons listed above need a companion and what better choice than a Bluey coloring book? Obviously, you can use any coloring book of your choice but how cute is this?

I hope you gained some inspiration for your little one’s boo-basket! And don’t forget that no boo-basket would be complete without a sweet treat. Their favorite candy or even an on theme cookie from the grocery store would work great! Happy Halloween!
